When Paige Novick
officially launched her luxury accessories company in 2008, she was hardly a
stranger to the fashion industry. Paige started her career during her high
school years as a sales associate at the legendary Charivari flagship store in
New York City. While studying art history at the Sorbonne, she interned at
Chanel, working directly with Karl Lagerfeld, where she was stirred by the
intense passion of design and the dedication to the art of fashion. Upon
returning to New York, Paige joined Cotton Incorporated and was part of a team
that forecasted color and fabric trends and she developed and presented studies
and directions to companies worldwide. Subsequently Paige founded and
served as the President and Creative Director of Frou
by Paige Novick, originally a handbag (and later also a clothing) brand that
was carried by many of the leading specialty and department stores in North
America, Japan and Europe.
As a designer, Paige’s work is quintessentially and unmistakably modern, however, her collections recall the timeless elegance and high quality of costume jewelry from other eras. Paige’s statement pieces are becoming iconic and appeal to the ageless and sophisticated woman who appreciates the unexpected contrast of mediums, refined details and subtle glamour.
Currently, the Paige Novick brand is carried in thought-leading retailers including Bergdorf Goodman,
Neiman Marcus, Ikram and Moda Operandi as well as in dozens of other luxury
specialty stores throughout the North America and Asia. Editorially, Paige (as
well as her designs) have been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W Magazine,
T Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, In Style, Women’s Wear Daily and Marie
Claire.
Paige has recently expanded beyond her own branded jewelry collections through collaborations with designers such as Doo.Ri (Spring/Summer 2012 runway show), through the launch of a capsule handbag collection and through private label designs for select leading retailers. In every new area, Paige remains committed to creating original, high-quality products that bare a timeless sensibility.
